I think you're correct. Pitcher Payton Buresch is also leaving JMU

She was was the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2018 when she posted a 1.96 ERA in 153.2 innings pitched and was All-CAA Second Team this past season with a 1.64 ERA in 47 innings pitched.

She has two years of eligibility left and would be a good get as well, but I don't know anything other than the fact that she is leaving JMU.

Hope she decides to check out the "new sheriff" you mentioned.
