Brought a tall pine tree down between 2 houses by tying off a rope as high

on the tree as possible, tying the other end of the rope to the front of my wife's car and applying tension to the rope after triangling the height of the tree to the distance from the car, proceeded to cut a notch perpendicular to the intended path followed with a cut behind. The tree fell exactly where I wanted. Notice I used the wife's car in case I was wrong:)
