I wouldn't give up on Dish, yet. I've been in touch with a couple of their

marketing folks who are anxious to start advertising the ACCN and they are keenly aware of the number of subscribers that are in the ACC territory and are indeed in talks with the ACC and ESPN to carry the channel.
However, Dish is notorious for negotiating for every penny. They may not make it by launch time. I'm a Dish fan, so I sticking with it because of the features they offer that are not available on Directv.
Obviously you and I watch Football differently. I record the game and I do not start watching until about an hour after kickoff. I skip through commercials and get caught up to live TV by the 4th quarter.
FYI, Dish and cable also has a few seconds of lag compared to OTA signal.
