I have heard it is nice on the inside and it was primarily used

for student recreation since it wasn't feasible to expand War Memorial. I am now starting to wonder if it makes sense for the Athletic Department to be spread over multiple buildings like it is now or if it would be better to consolidate the Athletic Department into 1-2 (larger) buildings. I understand why the coaches and their staff have offices close to where they work. However, by consolidating all the coaches and their staffs into 1 building (along with the rest of the admin in the Athletic Department), it could free up buildings (or more importantly space) to be used for other things. Plus, I don't think VT has built offices for the coaches and their staff at every athletic facility (i.e. baseball diamond, softball diamond, tennis facility, track facility, soccer field, etc).
