Not if he can’t be convinced. It’s Sweet Pea’s money. All they can do is
Try to get him to slow his roll but they can’t force the guy. It’s Sweet Pea’s responsibility & to suggest otherwise is denying personal accountability. I’m sure they would’ve loved to have kept his account large & watched it grow larger. They make money by managing assets. When it’s gone they are no longer making money.
I have no idea what Sweet Pea’s life was like now but I suspect he had a substance abuse problem for a fairly long time. People with addiction don’t manage their money very well & nobody can tell them otherwise.
