This is all about posturing right now...


The last thing Comcast or Charter wants, with already dwindling subscribers, to place more of their sub count at risk by getting into a protracted carriage fight with Disney over the ACCN. Also, the math needs to work for Disney as well as this is a lot of money coming in for them.

I still predict that this will work itself all out. This is posturing and negotiating and these deals usually get quite nasty up to the 11th hour. The ACCN goes live on August 15 and I would not be surprised if we are hearing about negotiations up til midnight on the 14th.
