...and last year , as bad as it was , could have been a lot worse due to many things outside of the direct control of the staff. As far as VT attracting "new" fans , our brand is such that we are almost always gonna have to do so from within and in today's climate young fans do not in any way have the financial ability to help the program , even if so inclined. We're not a national brand...just not in our DNA. Short of a MV type player again , we may never be , but this isn't even remotely close to the mediocrity in which VT football was once mired.
