We do not have a lot of spots open due to so many youngsters on the 85 man roster. I believe the coaches have a plan and it probably resembles something like the following:
1. Since it is a small call leave open slots for 4*'s to slot in late.
2. Recruit some basic key positions with people who could be the floor so to speak of what we need. If needed they could gray shirt to the Fall of 2020.
3. If VT fails to sign some key high 3*'s & some 4*'s then use the JUCo & Transfer Portal route.

Please don't lose any sleep on the rankings now for a very small 2020 class. There is a lot of talent on this team and depth. I believe we still need a couple of DL & OL but even there there is a lot of potential for 2020 & beyond.
