Maybe but ATT would like to rid itself of Directv. The sat service is a


drag on its earnings. Dish looks to be its only suitor. ATT & Dish are still at odds over HBO. I’m guessing that gets resolved as soon as merger talks begin.
Many folks in rural areas depend on Satellite service for both TV and Internet, but as the customer base continues to shrink there will not be enough customers to support both TV services ... something has to give.
As a Dish customer I am more concerned about the ACC Network than a merger. I refuse to switch to Directv. May have to go HULU.
