an opponent on the schedule that all teams respect because they know the game against the Hokies will be physical, knock down, black eye and snot bubbles in all 3 fazes. A swarming defense that lives on QB pressure, sacks, TFLs, and turnovers. Special Teams that score points and block kicks. Offense that will grind and wear you down and occasionally hit the big play.

Must complete the above goal with Integrity and do it the "right way".

If that is what our Team is, then I can accept whatever the win total result is (be it no fewer than 8 wins and includes a title game appearance every 3 years with a conference championship every 5).

I don't think in this age of football that national title is do-able without a MV1 talent at the QB position and even then I think a 14 and 15 game schedule nullifies a dual threat QB to some extent. great defense is still winning championships my friends - not big play receivers...DEFENSE!
