Unfortunate for both because they are both talented kids who seemed to have football in their futures. Bucky had the talent to be a really good player but he never delivered what he was capable of. JJ has some talent but seems to have an ego problem. Guys, it's a game which will not put food on your tables, so why hold a grudge against the university that gave you an opportunity? Unfortunate that they left VT with such negative thoughts, but that's their mindset.
