College Football seems to be regionalizing itself in the Southeast.

That's why some of us here keep saying 4 Conference Champions for the 4 playoff spot to keep interest high in other regions.

The steady dose of Clemson-Alabama and Georgia-Alabama mixed in for the Championship Game tells the tale.

That said. Penn State and Notre Dame are really the two needle movers in the Northeast. The ACC has one as a partial. The Big Ten has the other.

Then there are some other good teams like Syracuse, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and Boston College that have good years and can go bowling. Being in the ACC with access to southeast recruiting should help them continue to compete. We should add WVU if the opportunity arises. Temple appears to be able to compete, but the ACC has stolen 3 of their last 4 coaches.
