My VT roomie applied to PhD programs at Florida and VCU back in the 80s


He took his visit to Univ of Florida. Came back to Richmond where he lived at the time...said the visit was incredible. Weather was great. Coeds were fantastic. He just absolutely loved the place. He got accepted to both programs.

So where did he end up? VCU
Why? He said he would never be able to study at Florida...too many distractions!
