deteriorating alot over the past few years. It used to be Foster had good defenses 3 out of every 4 years. Now the opposite is true. He only has a good defense when the stars align right (2017), but the same is true of most DC's. See how Wake Forest beat us a few years ago with a stout veteran defense. I remember Motu's sophomore year, the defense was horrific. It was average the next year and became good his last year (2017), before collapsing again the next year. Thats 3 mediocre to bad defenses, out of 4 years. He's not the coach he used to be.
