I would think stat rankings are skewed or influenced by the level of competition from the defense. What is unclear is how the AAC compares to the P5 conferences when you are looking at a conference from top to bottom. I do think Coach Fuente can be successful at VT, so I am willing to give him the time to prove it. At some point though fans will want to see VT's offense start to have similar success as what Memphis had under him.
