I don’t usually post, but I understand your concerns. However this decision will definitely affect the next year of his life and potentially the next 40 years (considering pro-ball and/or graduate degree impact). “disrespectful” is waiting in line 5 minutes at Taco Bell and having no idea what you want to order when you get to the cashier even though there are people in line behind you. Taking time to make a life altering decision does not fall in the “disrespectful” category.
