and the rub is in the details. TV money allocations could take any number of methods and be influenced by network and conference requirements related to programming inventory. Ticket sales at traditional nonrevs are another source, however, that will have to evaluated on an individual sports basis. Attendance may be affected by ticket policy which in turn can trickle down to recruiting and sport profile. Maybe we can both agree that the "follow the money" mantra actually means a much more business like focus for every individual sport.
