it is not about feeding the status quo but, recognizing the reality of the situation. Vienna Hokie started this thread discussing the oft repeated mantra of "follow the money" and that is what drives the bus. You are absolutely correct that AD's will be forced to consider new thinking if a primary revenue source goes away and that thinking will have implications and consequences for all sports(rev and non rev). Even at that time the focus will still be on the money it just may be shifted to different focus areas.
