SoI saw Darnell's high adoption fee and commented....


and then I see your organization's is even higher. What's the deal with that? High fee ensures quality owners, generally speaking? Demand warrants it and puts enough money back in to keep the program sustainable?

Around here, adoption fees are usually $50 - $75, and they'll often have free or reduced fee days when numbers get high...
