Not sure about post-STS but traffic for those launches was nuts


Went to one on a Sunday evening that was scrubbed 10 minutes before liftoff - took me 2 hours just to get out of Titusville and another 3 (usually 2) to drive back to Tampa. This was on the west side of the river so not at the Space Center property but I can't imagine traffic would be any better or that the view would be worth it. I think they keep pretty much everyone far enough away that you don't get that earth-shaking experience you're probably looking for.
