Can't read too much into this, Spain plays a possession heavy

game but has very little in the way of teeth up front.

France is a more wide open style and less tikki takka. That plays more into the USA.

Spain also did a lot of high pressing and that seemed to trouble the USA. I'd expect france to do the same.
