Disappointed but not surprised by her decision

Forensic Science is VERY important to Carrie and that will be her long term career. Remember she graduated in 3 years, so she is a VERY bright young lady.

OK State has a Top 10 program in Forensic Science. This quote is from a forensic science website: "All in all, Oklahoma State offers a fine, accredited forensics graduate program with enough oomph in the right fields to get you going in pretty much any lab in the United States."

So transferring to OK State helps her tremendously in her field of study and since they made the College World Series this year, she gets a added bonus.

My only disappointment is that her announcement on Instagram included no mention of HokieNation: "I am so excited and blessed to say that I have decided to transfer to Oklahoma State University for my final year of college softball. I am so grateful for this opportunity and so happy to begin this new chapter of my life. Thank you to all my family and friends for their support through this process and major life change. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me at OSU! Go Pokes!"

A simple "Thank You to Hokie Nation for your support during the past 3 years" would have been a nice touch." And yes, I realize that she's looking forward, not backwards, but still....

Best of luck to her in the future.
