In reference to your statement about character and leadership,


do we know KB does not attend activities that are not required?

The bottom line is I really do not know what she has and has not missed. In my opinion, concluding that she is deserting the team and/or receiving favorable treatment because her dad is the coach is not warranted based on the evidence that is available to me.

However, based on posts on this board, I do feel like that some in the fan base are scrutinizing her situation more closely than normal because her dad is the coach.

One other thing: If she has a close relationship with someone who is having a once in a lifetime event, I do not think it is unreasonable for her to attend the event and to enjoy it, especially in the middle of June, i.e., in the off-season. Personally, I am glad she was able to go.
