Hawkeye provides an extra layer of officiating which the human eye cannot adequately provide.

If you believe the rules need updating that's fine. VAR worked.

VAR eliminates the 'human element' which Sepp Blatter was a fan.

I don't get the criticism. VAR was brought in to eliminate human error/bias. Per the rules, VAR eliminated corrected human error.
