1 & 2

1- Relatively, UVA loses ALOT more than we do. We were so freakin young last year. One of FBS’s very youngest squads of all. Anyone prognosing that they’ll be better than us is on crack. Yes, the QB is neat. He has no one around him 2019, unlike 2018. Yes. VT will beat UVA, who will not even make a bowl this coming yr.

2- VT D will not be as young as last yr. Very thin on the line IMHO. Better vs deep threat than last yr I think. With this schedule... if our D ranks 60-70, we are in huge trouble. D ranking should be misleadingly low (meaning good). We shouldn’t be as good as our stats, but we should be better than last year’s horrible D. 60 against this schedule would be a disaster. And yes, we should improve as year goes on...keeping fingers crossed on DL depth. Hoping early season cupcake fest gives backups reps.

Yes. We will beat UVA. If their best team in ages didn’t beat our worst team in ages last year, there’s no reason to think their getting worse will somehow put them beyond our reach as we improve this yr. none.
