because you both have blind spots. You're so old you have blocked out or do not appreciate the physical differences in eras and the changes in the game while the other poster was too young to have seen Smith play. Both are fine players in their own right and their own eras. Chris Smith has the added distinction of being extremely successful outside of sport as well. Really little need to tear either guy down for the other's benefit.
