Coaches aren't allowed to visit players or their families or watch them play. Only the recruits can have an on-campus visit during this period which ends on July 5th. The recruits can announce their commitment any time and visit any school during the quiet period. The evaluation period runs from July 6-12 and July 21-25. During those times the coach/staff can watch a recruit in person or visit their school/AAU games but can't communicate with the player or parents. The coaches can only talk to the player's coach, teachers, … Coaches can send offers, but aren't allowed any other contact. At this time of the year, only the players can announce offers and commitments. It's likely that Kenny is on a vacation with his family, except for the 2 evaluation weeks in July. The ball is in the recruits hands right now. That's why there's not much activity right now except for foreign player transfers.
