I've always wondered why football got most of the press at VT in recent years. That's not true. I get it. The basketball program was absolutely run in to a ravine and had to be rescued from the abyss.

Here we are, squarely inside the original ACC footprint. Bigger school than Wake, UVA, Duke and others. For most of us in these parts, weekend basketball on TV meant watching ACC games with The Pilot. Now that we've been in the conference for 16 years (geez time flies), Why shouldn't we expect to be great in basketball?

These are exciting times. Rebirth is always a trip. Go Hokies.
