there is at least some belief that those rumors of working with Turner were planted by Scott or PAC 12 insiders to make the sale of a stake more attractive. The backing of Warner media/ATT could provide clout on the industry front as well, however, there are lots of questions surrounding the reorg of Turner and other Warner/ATT divisions and whether they are comfortable with their current properties of the NBA and NCAA tourney partnership with CBS. Another consideration will be content streaming through ATT distribution channels, at least that was info shared with me by a friend in the industry. Hopefully somebody like East Cobb or another poster close to the industry can clarify or correct any misinterpretations I may have made on what I was told.
