It is generally fool's gold to worry about any single year in recruiting, particularly when that year might be an outlier for any number of reasons( coaching staff changes, available scholarships, positions of need not matching available talent, etc.). Most people that really follow recruiting have a longer horizon than any single year. Some might worry after 2 years, a lot probably after 3 years, etc.. Not sure what effect the Cam Goode situation might have long term. If Goode cannot cut it in Florida or has minimal impact down there it probably will lessen the impact if there is any that exists. Could the year be tough? Absolutely but, calling it generationally bad taking in to consideration the realities that exist is a huge stretch.
