Hokie Golf Review - Week 24 - Vincent Wins
Even though we didn't have any Hokies in the U.S. Open, a lot of good things happened this week. There was a Hokie in the win column for the 2nd time in three weeks.
Scott Vincent won the Landic Challenge 7 on the Abema TV (Japan Challenge) Tour. He won 2.7 million yen (~$25,000) and 7 world ranking points, which should move him into the 140's in the world. He moved to #3 on their money list.
Drew Weaver finished tied for 34th on the Web.com's Lincoln Land Championship. He cashed $2,808.93 and dropped one spot to #22 in "The 25" standings.
Joey Lane finished tied for 18th at the Suzhou Open on the PGA Tour China. He cashed ¥22400 (~$3,250) moving him to #39 on their money list.
Brenden de Jonge finished tied for 26th at the Thomasville Open on the GPro Tour cashing $800.
Missed Cut: Suwannarut
Off This Week: Wagner, Cone
With the world rankings updating late this week due to the U.S. Open on the west coast, I'm going to do a half-season full world rankings recap on Monday.
