important "perception" that we need to start getting out there is that we are annually a major player in the coastal. It's a nit, because we're kinda talking about the same thing...but I think the perception that we need to establish is that if you come here, most years you can expect to be playing for the conference title. Not just "one of many" in the coastal, but right there with Miami, where people say "one of those 2 is gonna win it" every year. Competing with Clemson on an annual basis isn't necessary to improve recruiting IMO...but being in a POSITION to compete with them is.
