The head soccer coach for Hobart William Smith college volunteers for our
local soccer program. He was sharing a story of a player who was visiting HWS from Brazil. I presume a recruit for his program. He said that as he's showing that kid around campus with his family, the kid is carrying a soccer ball and whenever they went outside, he'd drop the ball and be dribbling, juggling, etc. until they got to the next building, at which point he kicked it up into his hands and toured that next building. The coach didn't think the kid was trying to show off or anything like that, that's just how he was. If he was outside, then the soccer ball was with him and he was doing things with it.
Do we think there are a lot of US high school kids doing that?
