Play hard, sure. But also tone down celebrations a bit.


would be interesting to see the commentary today if one of the Thai players put a hard foul on Rapinoe after the celebration for #9. What would happen if it were a men's game? In baseball, that guy's taking on in the ear. In basketball, get ready to get hit next time you're in the air in the lane. I've got no problem with the final score. Thailand made the tournament and it's their job to stop the other team from scoring. But I would have liked to see the U.S. players act differently when they did score late goals in such a lopsided game.
