I generally agree with your positions on loyalty and all this free agency corrupting college football. I wish there were some restrictions about players dumping schools that have invested so much on them the moment they don't win a starting job.
That said, if players are going to move around then all we can do is be in the mix and try to achieve net gains on our roster. Losing a bad cornerback like Watts is an opportunity for a gain.
Our starting QB came out of free agency and you can bet we were talking to him before he packed his bags in Kansas. Its not really slimy when you get used to it...whats slimy are the schools with the bag men. Thats why the NCAA needs to stomp out. Death penalties for paying players or families or their ministers etc. Period
