No definite idea, but sometimes a person needs to explore their options

Carrie wants to be a forensic scientist and my money is that she'll be a really good one. She already has her degree, so she has a lot of avenues available to her (including education-related) and perhaps she is simply exploring those options.

Her parents are awesome Hokies and they were kind enough to invite me to join their tailgate in Lexington. I am not shocked at today's news, but I wouldn't be comfortable speculating.

Carrie has been an awesome Hokie and has always given us 110%. We've been blessed to have her at VT the last 3 years. Hopefully, there's one more to go, but if fate takes her a different direction, I'll still be one of her biggest fans.

Once a Hokie, always a Hokie.
