FWIW, Japan is a much better option than the NPF league

In Japan, a player can make $60,000 a year compared to the NPF league where they make about $5,000 for 3 months. The NPF has a $150,000 salary cap for the ENTIRE team.

Of course, the transfer portal has nothing to do with the professional option - just sharing information.
