is that while the family was disappointed the original offer was only a walkon/deferred scholarship the promise was offered as the first available scholarship to open up would go to Steph and then that did not happen. IMO things always happen for a reason and I believe Davidson was a far better place for Steph to develop. He was a much better system fit at Davidson, was the focal point there when ready and developed out of the glare of the ACC and his dad's legacy... Great family from my exposure and the distress is all how SG handled the situation.
