I think his final team had a lot of talent and would've made the dance a few times. A core of Chaney, Green, Eddie, Raines, JVZ, Brown, Barksdale, and Rankin is pretty good. A couple of those guys transferred and became very solid players.

We wouldn't have had the lean years which were horrible given how bad we were at football at the same time, and VT wouldn't have lost all the publicity we did when we cratered.
