Hokie Pro Golf - Week 22 Review - Suwannarut WINS
It wasn't a great week for the US based Hokies, but two of our Asian based Hokies has a very good week.
Sarit Suwannarut came from four behind in the final round to win the Singha Classic for his first win as a professional (he had one win as an amateur). He receives 300,000 Baht (~$9,500), 5 World rankings points, and moves to 4th on the Thai order of merit. He should gain about 150 spots in the world rankings to around #400. I've put a link to the All Thailand Golf Tour press release at the bottom.
Scott Vincent finished 12th on the Japan Tour this week at the Gate Way To The Open Mizuno Open at The Royal GC. He gained 2,120,000 Yen (~$19,600), and 1.84 World Rankings points. This is a good result but it won't have much effect on his world ranking or spot on the Japan Money List.
Brenden De Jonge played the GPRO event in bryan park finishing in a tie for 14th cashing $725.
Hollandsworth, Cone and Weaver missed their cuts.
Wagner and Lane were off this week.
