A co-worker and his bartender son just visited Belle Meade's distillery and


loved it. There is some 100 year (or more?) anniversary edition coming out that should be valuable. I know they did not produce anything for decades, but I think it commemorates the original production.

I love their bourbon but can't get it in PA. The state owns the ABCs here and even ban having it shipped here. I have cases of it shipped to my office in NJ. It's how I first met our president. "So you're the guy shipping whiskey to the office ..." The bastage wanted a bottle.

Blanton's is probably my favorite, but there is a waiting list for it at the local stores. I got a call the other day and they are holding one, but I have to get home first. Stuck in RDU and had another flight cancelled back to EWR. Must get home to bourbon ... and family, of course.
