There is a huge difference in being the "hot coach", having programs pursue you year after year, and eventually giving in to an offer you can't refuse... vs. actively pursuing every decent job that you can, and planning to leave for a specific destination almost a year in advance. And oh by the way, knowing full well that you intend to leave at the end of the season, yet still using up almost all of your current employer's OVs and handcuffing their efforts to recruit after you leave.
