I see it a great deal. The jeopardy guy is a great example. He isn’t cheating. Just succeeding due to superior intellect and rapid reaction skills along with great analytical thinking. Yet folks are raising cane because he is succeeding. Unfortunately many view success as a limited supply thing where someone else’s success takes away your ability to succeed even if that person has the same opportunity to improve to become success. So while it might be untrue in your mind I see a lot of examples of it.
