It is broken in the sense that the ebb and flow will only take place
among the power conferences. Even then it may only center around 10-12 power conference schools. It is unlikely you will see a BYU (1984), GT (1990), Pitt (1976), or Minnesota (1960) win another national championship because the national championship will basically rotate among the blue bloods.
