Does it really make sense to look at past 3 years without the previous 4?

Our problems began with the 2012 season. Recruiting also suffered.

Fortunately we had an established relationship with the Edmunds family, and we got Kendall Fuller too.

In 2013 we did get Teller and Facyson, and developed Bucky into a decent TE.

2014 was a high point with Mihota, Walker, and Stroman on defense. Lefty helped us get Ford and Philips us a QB with Brewer. Unfortunately Williams and Mackenzie at RB had injuries curtail their careers.

2015 saw Nijman on offense; plus Tremaine, Settle, Mook, and Alexander on defense. We'll skip "over the Hill."

Where would we have been if Fuente didn't find Evans as QB in 2016, and keeping Josh Jackson for 2017. Devine Diablo was also a 3 star find that may be very good.

2017 saw Keene and Darrisaw on offense, and Hunter (still waiting), plus Rivers and Farley on defense.

2018 and 2019 were very good classes and should pay dividends as they become juniors and seniors.

Again where would we be without Fuente finding Willis? Especially with the receiving talent we have now.

2012 we barely made bowl eligibility. 2013 was better record wise but had to go to overtime to beat Marshall, barely beat East Carolina, and only victory not close was an error prone, comically inept Miami.

2014 had a miracle win over Ohio State. However we were 3-5 in the ACC, barely beat UVA to make bowl eligibility with losses to ECU and Wake beat us 6-3. Ugh!

2015 again barely bowl eligible, 4-4 in the ACC, lost to ECU again.

You have to look the total picture; which is 7 years, not three.
