greatly appreciated, and helped during probably the lowest point of my life.

Thankfully, my wife seems to have turned a corner. They've drained her stomach and lungs of fluid. Tests came back with no infections. The steroids are working at breakneck speed. It's only been two days, and she's already starting to feel better.

Her hemoglobin level when we arrived was a 3. For those who know the scale, that's no bueno. The blood transfusions have worked, and they've started to stabilize around 9, which is mo' bueno.

Long story short is that she is probably not going to die. YAH! However, they still need to do some tests to look for small bleeding that they have yet to detect in her waste. Also, the liver and kidneys are going to be an issue. No more drinking wine for her. And as Jules said in "Pulp Fiction", "my girlfriend is a vegetarian, so that pretty much makes me one too". The same goes for drinking :(.

Anyway, it's a small price to pay for her to come home alive and well. It wasn't looking good on Friday.
