Great season for Hokie Softball

Proud of the girls that represented the University so very well all year. Won and lost with class. Exceeded every expectation out there. This team was picked 10th in the ACC for gosh sakes. They set all kinds of records hitting, pitching, wins etc. lots of career bests by individuals and team records as well. Great upper class leadership and lots of talent scheduled to return. We can certainly be frustrated that we probably played our worst softball the last 6 games but that happens especially with limited experience playing in both the ACCT and NCAA. That has all changed this year from what had become a very bad situation for the program. Lots of reasons to be excited for the future of the program. Let’s celebrate the success of this team and support them even more next year. Go Hokies!
