I didn’t see the Banks error clearly but if she had time to charge the ball

the runner would not have blocked her view. And if she and the runner touched at all it would have been obstruction on the runner and the inning would have been over. The fielder always has a right to the ball. Again, I didn’t see the play clearly and she may have been too deep to get to the ball before the runner passed by.
