Reading this board I sense that one of the problems is analysis paralysis. Players all wearing fanny packs with too much analytical data. Unnecessary shifts, outfielders moving to analytical alignments that put them in the wrong position. After a pitch or 2 you can see the hitter/pitcher match-up is not going to yield the expected hit. Pitchers not pitching to the shift. I also wonder if "the chef" set the wrong tone with the players - running off so many could not help morale. And it appears that will continue.
