I don't have any real animosity, but why should I care about the success...

of his program at A&M? He treated his tenure at Tech as 'just business' and his success was doing what was in his best interest for his future... I get that. So, if he struggles at A&M because of issues before he got there, why should I care? That's basically it -- I'm really indifferent...

It's part of a larger issue (for me) that can be summed up this way: why should I invest emotional energy and loyalty in 'you' if it's not reciprocal? That is, not being a loyal HOKIE or not really caring about the fans and the city you play in (like in pro sports). When college athletics is 'just business' (and it's not too far from that now -- some, rightfully, might argue that we already there and have been for some time) -- I'm done, that's not what I want.

So, the Buzz thing for me left me feeling kinda hollow -- hiring MY has me feeling much better.
